Rhonda's Story

Rhonda began her career in show business as a commercial copywriter and advertising executive for The Bobby Ball Agency. She then moved to Hollywood to work as a contract actress for eight years Universal Studios starring as Mae West, Ethel Mertz, and Marilyn Monroe in live musical comedy productions. As an actress, Rhonda has twice been awarded the Los Angeles Drama Logue Critiques Award for her work on stage. She has appeared in 11 commercials, and voiced over 50 radio spots.

The National Center for Comedy invites Rhonda to perform as Ethel Mertz every year at its Grand Opening in Jamestown, New York. Past lineups of which Rhonda has been a part include: Jerry Seinfeld, Jay Leno, and Joan Rivers. The August 2018 lineup features members from the original Saturday Night Live Cast: Dan Ackeroyd, Laraine Newman, and Garrett Morris as well as Lily Tomlin, Amy Schumer, and Lucy Arnaz.

As a celebrity impersonator, Rhonda performs complete stage shows as 14 different celebrities (click "Celebrities" tab to view the complete list). This talent enables her to provide a musical comedy ministry for sufferers of Dementia-related illnesses- a cause she cares for passionately as seen in this article written about her work in the Plano Star Courier.  

As a vocalist, Rhonda sings a variety of music from jazz to country, and is the lead singer for "Upswing"- a 20-piece jazz band. 

Rhonda currently lives in Dallas, Texas and is happily married with 5 children and 3 grandchildren. You never know who or where she'll be next!
